I (Peter Schiff) still think the US economy is in trouble, the price of everything is going to rise in america, if you are looking for stocks you should go abroad, all interest are going to rise, inflation is coming and is going to send prices higher, falling asset prices (such as stocks, bonds and commodities) are not deflationary

  1. Are those numbers about foreign markets that mr Kudlow uses in the third video correct? Because mr Schiff says that he doesnt know where mr Kudlow got those numbers.

  2. I find it amusing how they try to discredit Schiff's ideas. In his book he clearly states that the foreign markets will get hit initially with the the U.S. market due to them being intertwined. But as these foreign economies reorganize they will prosper leaps and bounds over the U.S. economy. This prosperity will occur as they detach themselves from the dollar. He is still right on the money. Nobody can predict the day the dollar will collapse, but to identify the signs of it's demise is key to Schiff's philosophy.

  5. I hope Schiff decides to run for Senate in 2010. We've already hit the iceberg, but at least we could have a voice of reason in the Senate to go along with Ron Paul in the House.

that's exactly what he didn't do.
he didn't wait for the signs, he just got all his clients money out of the country years ago, although he himself predicted a stock market crash to trigger the decoupling process.
I'm glad I stayed mostly in cash and am now invested against the dollar.
